Its Not JUST a Sport

HellO! This blog is for all the dedicated cheerleaders out there who work there butts off to do what they love!

Cheerleading really is not JUST a sport. its crowd-leading, dancing, tumbling, stunting, learning, growing, bonding, and most of all, it is a family.

I was a cheerleader for 8 years, starting with my elementary school in 5th grade, then moving up to a community football league called FFL in which I cheered for 3 years, I competed one year of All-Stars with FFL, then cheered all 4 years in highschool.

I have been coaching for 8 years - I coached my elementary school one year, 3 years of FFL and this is my 4th year coaching high school varsity cheer.

I always loved cheering and I love coaching now. I think that cheerleaders dont get enough credit for all the hardwork and time they put into doing what they do, which is why I love the cheer community because we realize that cheerleading is not only a sport, but much, much more.
